Day 1: Early morning Dar es salaam to Mikumi

Early morning at 0530hrs pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or at airport and drive to Mikumi national park. You will have picnic lunch on the way and the journey will take about 7hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage. To sleep inside the park will give you an opportunity of viewing animals all the time. Dinner and overnight will be at Mikumi Park cottage.

Day 2: Sun rise game drive

Before Breakfast at 6:00 am start a morning game drive. Always the morning game drive is amazing because most of the killings happens at this moment. Have a time for breakfast at 8:30 am, proceed with a game, Mikumi national park is home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bush buck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile. After a game drive to the camp Bastian. Enjoy the best moment with swimming pool at Camp Bastian. Dinner and overnight will be at the Camp Bastian hotel.

Day 3: Maasai culture then Safari from Mikumi to Nyerere National Park

Before breakfast make a Maasai tour, you will learn more about a polygamy style of maasai, how to make fire using sticks then be back to Bastian camp and proceed with game viewing en-route to Selous game reserve, on the way you will enjoying the life of different culture of some tribes in Tanzania. All meals at African safari at Selous.

Day 4 : Full Game drive at Nyerere National Park then Boat Safari at everning

Breakfast in your accommodation followed by full day game drives in the reserve. Nyerere National Park is a home to large population of elephant, big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bush buck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, Kudus and Crocodile. In the mid afternoon embark on boat safari, where you’ll admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.. Dinner and overnight will be at the African safari Camp.

Day 5: Walking safari then start a safari to Dar es salaam

Before breakfast you will have a walking safari with a bushman, a bushman will explain to you about animals and plants. Importance of different plants in a bush and all concerning about Selous game reserve, there after have a breakfast then depart to Dar es salaam at hotel, airport or at seaport. End of our tour.
